Andreoli for a more sustainable future

Environmentally friendly design products
Andreoli's commitment to a more sustainable future

Design products that respect people and the environment.

Andreoli has always created works and products having a low environmental impact to achieve a more sustainable future, while paying the utmost attention to energy savings and human health. We continuously update our production processes to reduce energy consumption, eliminate or minimise material waste and production waste, and optimise packaging.

We work side by side with companies like us, who are committed to limiting their impact on the environment as much as possible. This is why we have chosen suppliers and partners who comply with the strictest international environmental standards, and together we have identified a path allows us to steadily develop sustainability in all fields of interior design and architecture.

Safe and non-toxic products

Hygienic and emission-free materials.

Andreoli is committed to a sustainable value chain that meets the highest ecological standards. We work exclusively with Solid Surface materials known for their durability and intrinsic properties, as well as being absolutely emission-free in compliance with the highest standards of indoor air quality.
Safe materials:

  • no VOC emissions (Volatile Organic Compounds)
  • no formaldehyde
  • no nanoparticles

In particular, Andreoli is one of the most qualified Italian companies specialising in processing DuPont™ Corian® material that has obtained important certifications from the Materials Pledge of the American Institute of Architects and other conformities such as:

  • EPD type ‘III’ environmental certification
  • Non-toxic as per EU Directive 2002/95CE (RoHS)
  • Qualified for the Mindful Materials library
  • Free of Red List components, as indicated by the Declare label
  • NSF-certified for catering in commercial/public spaces
  • UL-certified for mould resistance

Corian® Solid Surface also contributes to the US Green Building Council’s LEED score, EQ credits and earns Material Resources credits.

Contributing to circularity

Reuse, repair, upgrade and reconditioning.

Dupont™ Corian® and Solid Surface materials are composed of minerals, acrylic and natural pigments: they are increasingly sustainable and eco-friendly products designed to last a long time and, if necessary, be repaired. Therefore, they offer important resource-saving possibilities, because their long service life saves money or avoids replacement purchases.

The production facilities of Corian® and other Solid Surface materials do not generate waste or landfill, thanks to take-back and reuse agreements with the entire value chain. This means that any pre-consumer waste can be reused elsewhere, where it is recycled into new products, thus contributing to generating very little waste.

In particular, some colours of Corian® Solid Surface contain between 6% and 20% pre-consumer recycled materials/ingredients, as certified by the independent organisation SCS Global Services (formerly known as Scientific Certification Systems).

Reducing impact

We minimise energy consumption in our factory as much as we can.

We are committed to making products responsibly by constantly reducing the energy consumption of our production plant and seeking cutting-edge methods for an increasingly sustainable approach. This commitment takes the form of producing the necessary energy through a photovoltaic system.

When processing these materials, nothing is wasted: solid surfaces can be joined without visible joints and any cuttings can be reused in other projects, so there is very little waste. Every product we manufacture also lasts a long time. They don’t have to be replaced, and therefore have a positive effect on the ecological balance.

All solid surfaces materials we process are manufactured by companies that comply with the ISO 14001 environmental standard, and regularly carry out environmental performance and energy consumption analyses and publish the results.
