I Have a Dream

The Italian design experience
How do designers dream?

The art of transforming ideas into products

On-going education and advanced manufacturing systems allow us to offer qualified support for every project: our technical skills are married to our desire to create objects as art forms.

In 2007, our passion for design led us to develop our “I Have a Dream” project, an exhibition curated by Matteo Ragni, where 11 in contemporary design artists presented furnishings and installations as a result of the spontaneity of their design thinking.

This event was a very important moment in our history: let us tell you about it, retracing the images, the works, and the dreams, that have made the company what it is today.

A dream come true

On 1st March 2007 history and design came together in new art forms at artandgallery in Milan.

“I Have a Dream!” A dream come true: proof that Italian companies are still willing to experiment and to have a dialogue with designers, especially using a specialized laboratory, which acts as a hinge between the two worlds. In a contemporary context, it means a continuing experience of Italian design retracing its history, with also the awareness of a different design complexity, typical of our era. Well done to Andreoli, for knowing and wanting to welcome this added human factor into ‘I Have a Dream ! We worked hard, indeed, but also conversed, discussed, laughed, and enjoyed lunch together … this is design too! “. (Matteo Ragni)

Neverending Evolution

A unrolled ribbon that develops into an infinite element without limits: Neverending, the work of Luca Nichetto, is composed of parts which, not presenting a precise direction of arrangement, can be juxtaposed to create different objects and compositions. A dividing wall, where solids and voids sinuously blend performance and the endless tape, becomes a comfortable seat creating an unexpected contrast to the typical characteristics of the material presence of Corian® itself.

The Nichetto project, presented at the event on 1st March 2007 was also the main attraction of the Neverending Evolution, of Neverending Evolution il 19th November 2009 at the J & V Store in Via Melzo, Milan.
